• A workshop searching the challenges of the recruiting sector of Asharqia Chamber

    ​A workshop organized by AsharqiaChamber  represented by Human Resources Committee stressed that the recruiting companies work is licened to work based on business  sector service by 80 percent, and only 20 percent to provide services of domestic workers, including maids.
    The workshop that was recently organized at the main headquarters in Asharqia Chamber in Dammam and was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Bandar Al Safeer has reviewed aiming of introducing  recruiting companies services and the challenges facing the sector, as the attendance discussed the open recruiting from different countries based on the agreements and memos of understanding and once any problem or an emergency in country occur the recruiting gets closed  and consequently actions and delays the recruiting companies endure.
    The workshop also has discussed the proceedures of some countries that allow recruiting of them whih is vary from one place to another what causes the length of the proceedures and delaying requests, as well as some workers in some countries respond to the ads providing jobs and they are a big attraction for men, while women need to other to other various attraction proceedures might be traveling to the village to communicate with them directly and trying to convince them to  attract them to work.
    The workshop has pointed that the recruiting companies performs many tasks on behalf of the service  inquirers of providing employment and ending their actions in the home country of the work  including the work and driving licence and the medical examination and procedures for recruiting, until the arrival of  the worker and ending  his procedures in the Kingdom, and considering the details of each of those operations, the recruiting companies handle a huge burden on behalf of the beneficiary companies that is not equivalent to the cost of those companies by recruiting for itself.
    The workshop has discussed several issues, most prominently: the idea of ​​the establishment of recruiting companies, the types of services and products offered by recruiting companies to the beneficiaries, and the nature of dealing with companies, what is the mechanism of its action, and how to take advantage of the private sector dealing with them.
    The attendance  exptessed their hope that the  local markets overcomes many of the challenges associated with the conditions of recruiting, and that the local expertise reaches the level of  making balancement between the recruiting and the maximum need for labor.
    It is worth mentioning that the issue of recruiting is witnessing many developments, such as the decline in dependence on certain markets, and the opening of other markets, which means that several options are before the local client from labor groups, especially domestic workers, and this diversity  obtains kind of situations and phenomenas that require a certain situation taken by offices to preserve the rights of all parties in the recruiting process.
    Worth to be mentioed that workshop comes within the framework of the keenness of AsharqiaChamber to activate various economic activities in the eastern region, in order to raise the level of performance, and to provide goods and services with a high level of speed and quality.
